Think about where you would file the joke that you want to remember. Categorize it so when you or ise it and you chunk it, you remember it more. Quick tip number two, your second c if you will, is cast. What characters are part of the joke? Who do you know that you could cast in that role? If the joke has a bartender, a doctor, a lawyer, it helps for you to visualize and imagin a specific bartender, doctor, lawyer that you know,. You can imagine them going through that joke's experience as well.

How do you memorize jokes?

Tell me if this sounds familiar. You hear a fantastic joke, but when the time comes to repeat it, your mind goes blank. This doesn’t seem to happen with song lyrics or movie quotes, so why do jokes feel like they disappear moments after you hear them?
