The End of Gliders

Gliders were discontinued very quickly, they were sold for scrap. They served their purpose I think their legacy was extraordinary that of the glider pilots but they disappeared about as quickly as they appeared in World War II. You could build a family room or a kitchen or a deck or a barn with the shipping crates that these things came in so they died a very quiet almost ignored deathvery, very few if anywhere save for future museums or that sort of thing.
