The Advantages of a Minimum Contract Process

Phoenix has taken the low road and just said, hey, you get a minimum, you get them. They're passing out all these minimum contracts to players that other teams weren't quite at a point in their process where they've moved on to yet. It's an interesting, interesting benefit that we wouldn't have expected going into this free agency period. I would be surprised if Christian wood was offered anything above the minimum.
