Isis - Is There a Process for Appeals?
Isis said that it began to use a risk assessment classification tool to essentially calculate the risk when releasing someone. But isis also claim that that algorithm is only meant to provide a recommendation to officers who would then make a final decision. I can't really speak to whether they are using these types of tools now as they determine who should be released, but it is by and large left to the discretion of ice officers.
