The Rise and Fall of Christianity

Christianity eating at the foundations, eating whatever it is that made Rome great. Christianity feeding neo-Platonism into Roman society and into Roman culture. They still had a choice though to go kind of a neo-Christian rule, but they didn't. They chose this pessimism. And beneath it all, because Rome was a society with aristocrats, with rulers and world, a new philosophy was spreading through those who were ruled.
