In 1996, making a recording was very difficult. Most of us using four tracks were not making releaseable material. We didn't have a real recording studio. It was just a cobbled together of microphones and thrift stores. And he was at the time, I'd never played with anybody or made music with anybody who was that competent and creative on a number of instruments.
