Walkman Walkman Plays MP3s for $1,600
For $1,600 I can be hauling around an extra piece of equipment that duplicates everything that my current piece of equipment already does. And if you spend $3,200, you could have a gold one. There's no way people will beat you over the head to take your Walkman away and melt it down for the gold it contains. This is disappointing. I always thought of Sony as having its act together. It's pretty late in the day. Their quality control 15 years ago or so was just dreadful. In no world can I understand how that makes any sense. Even less so given that I can already play MP3s. Don't stop believing by journey.
