Investing in a Period of Inflation

I think the most useful literature in terms of investing in a period of inflation would be Warren Buffett's shareholder letters in 1980 and 1981. And he also spoke at length at this idea of pricing power and lack of asset intensity. He spoke about the issues associated with capital intensive businesses in particular. So I found that really helpful. We've gone back and we've studied primary resources, so annual reports for businesses that were publicly traded during past periods of elevated levels of inflation. But if you followed me through sort of there are a number of asset classes that people tend to think of first when they think about inflation. Then from there, you can start looking for businesses that check those boxes.
