What Are the Patterns of the Poetry in Genesis One?

In Genesis one, of course, where God creates people, male and female, that's it. So what do we do with people that don't identify as the sex that they were assigned at birth? And so we might amphibians,. The platypus is my favorite example, just completely uncategorizable even today. But when we look at things that exist in the natural world that don't exist in Genesis one, we can see some patterns.
