Jason Miller: I'm going to present something that I saw the abstract of at Digestive Disease Week a few weeks ago. This is a really cool technology paper. Usually, when we sample the microbiome, it's stool, right? But you can't get to the middle parts of the gut very easily or very safely. Well, they came up with capsules which dissolve based on pH and release in different parts of the intestine. And from this, they were able to sample the entire gut,. measure the microbiome and metabolites there, and do a bunch of cool stuff.
