Utilitarianism and Altruism

Market society is for everybody to develop because when people are responding to their own wants and desires through the laws of supply and demand, everybody will get what they need. It's kind of ironic because utilitarianism initially with a focus on pleasures and pains being realities reducible to seem to be a way of defending commercial society.
