The War in the Vade

The vade region was never a major economic centre, nor boasting a major port. The inhabitants of the region were generally isolated from the rest of france. And as is often the case with insular rural communities, the people were happy with their traditional ways. But opposition to the revolution in the region wasn't just because the locals were a bunch of backward neophobes.
