The First Amendment and Twitter

The first amendment is not something that the founders put together so that we'd all be able to host really interesting dinner parties. It's not a sort of, broadly free speech is great a provision to the constitution. The point of it is to prevent the government from censuring a censuring speech. And what that means though is the responsibility for what good speech looks like is on private institutions like twitter and face wook and so on.
