New Zealand's Contribution to China Panic
The Kiwi fruit is actually native to where I'm from, that my part of China in the south, western part, so strong week, we call it mihot kao, which literally means monkey fruit. So it was taken, it was transplanted on New Zealand, I think in the early 20th century by missionaries. The story I heard, how it became shifted, the name shifted from Chinese gooseberry to Kiwi food is because New Zealand, they try to market it in United States. And, and, Dr. MICHAEL DOLLERELL, another Coast such a such a big controversy.
