Josh: Is it important to be able to kind of like self analyze or to do talk therapy of some sort to pinpoint what it was that led you to this perfectionist lifestyle? I think yes and no. Most therapeutic approaches really are in some ways about uncovering these automatic default experiences, both internal and external. So for me, at least, it feels really important to understand how it is that these ways of being now were helpful for you in the past, but maybe not so helpful now.
