I'm doing a long deep dive reading of Oswald Spengler's book, The Decline of the West. He really demolishes a lot of typically especially Anglo perspectives on nature as this thing that is just kind of self evidently there and interpretable if you just know the right ways to think about it in the first place. For Spengler there's really no such thing. Instead all you have is lots of different cultures and then they will give you a bunch of different accounts of what nature is.
