What Did Cooper Do After the Second Flight?
Cooper had a nilon parachute cord tied around his waist, which he was using to secure the bank's money bag. He ended up taking it with him, so the authorities didn't have it to examine afterwards. The crew then continued to fly to reno, since they weren't sure if cooper was still on board. At eight 13, 33 minutes into the flight, the plane suddenly bounced. Its tail section went up, indicating that there was now less weight in the back of the plane. So this was likely when cooper jumped. There has been speculation that he might have actually jumped up and down inside the plane to make it bounce and disguise the precise time he left.
