I've always been around a beach my whole life. I think even though I might not go to a beach every day, knowing that it's there is like core to my being. But what's funny is I actually hate camping. It's interesting that now I'm doing field research, which sometimes does require me to do that and dig holes and shit in it. That also means you get to go to these places that nobody else gets to go to and experience these things that people would just love to do.
