Hypercapnia Versus Bipap?

I see this a lot, and i think there's a common problem here. I would propose that you can really make the selection of what device based on the patient's diagnosis, not their blood gas. So don't just go directly from an a b g value to a therapeutic motality. Really think about what the disease process is and how best to treat it. And last up, any talks or central aspects here to reverse. If there's an antidote, go for it. If there isn't, intimation versus observations the way to go.
