Influence Back in the '70s
By 17 76, by january of 17 76, we knew we were heading towards independente. It was just a matter of how it was going to happen and how soon? Well, so influence back then looks different than to day to day. You have to realize that almost, almost, maybe about 90 % of the people in the american colonies would have been impacted in some way. Directly or indirectly, by what was said from the pulpit. So if the clergy were moving towards independence, the nation was moving towards independence.
