The Easiest Satellite to Spot in the Night Sky
You can tell the difference between a satellite and a star by its movement. Satellites in low earth orbit track a path across the sky in a matter of minutes, while stars take all night. The easiest satellites to spot in the night sky are the international space station and the hubble space telescope. Anything that is orbiting our planet is a satellite, including the moon.
