I Love Harold Wilson and the Prime Ministers
The Royal Family loved the first two seasons because it wasn't living history. But once you get into living history, it becomes much more complicated as players are still around and saying 'whoa!' I did actually think that way the last series ended was really off the mark for Thatcher in terms of her reputation. She asked the Queen to dissolve parliaments and have a general election to try and preserve her job. That's unthinkable that would have happened. And that is deeply unfair to Thatcher. It isn't just talk about how it can distort or give a misleading impression about the royals but it's also true the prime ministers as well.
