"It really makes for such a fun way to break up the narrative because you're like, I'm about to get another one," she says. "I started writing the first draft in 2020 and it just sort of came out of that as an escape." The book has been edited by tiny ghost press who have spent over a year working on it. It's taken them more time than big publishing companies but they are able to focus so much better when editing small books.
