On average, forty four % of physicians are burnt out. Some professions as high as almost 70%. Would you hire a football coach who was burnt out? Why not? Well, you wouldn't at the best performance. We love taking care of patients when it doesn't cause a catastrophe in some other part of their life. That's what we got into medicine, for us to help people.
