So you can get a distal RTA, hyperkhelemic RTA from obstructive uropathy and also right next door, you can get ADH resistance. The ADH no longer works at the collecting tubule. But this other mechanism you mentioned is a new one, which would, I guess if this were the case, it would account for the dilute urine that is patient-savvy.
