School is the only time in your life when you are forced to do everything and to try to be good at everything. There's a reason why we enforce some amount of even distribution across what we con to be foundational subjects. Even i can't argue for a 100 % syllabus of snacks and gim but still, there is this notion that the education system as it's now configured, does a good job of hammering the psyches of young people with the notion that there are a lot of things that they're not good at.
