The Incidence and Prevalence of Ch Pilori Infections
The majority of people colonized with h priloria acquired during infancy. Each pilori infection has been associated with decreased duodenal bi carbonate secretion, which can lead to erosion of sensitive duodinal micosa in some patients. Certain regions of africa, the middle east, latin america, europe and south east asia are known to have particularly high prevalence of ch pilori infection.
