Is There a Plan to Halve Inflation?
Inflation is a measure of how much prices have gone up across the board over the previous year. One of the most significant drivers of inflation last year was Putin's invasion of Ukraine, which pushed global gas prices to their highest-ever levels. As long as prices don't sharply rise further because of some new development, inflation will fall pretty much automatically without the government doing anything. All that's needed for inflation to fall is for prices to stop rising. Inflation might fall, but we'll still be paying through the nose for a coffee.
