How Can You Tell How Gritty Someone Really Is?
Angela Duckworth's research is based on longitudinal studies of individuals at places like West Point or the National Spelling Bee. To measure grit, Duckworth designed a 12-question survey called the grit scale. She says people are not very good at dividing by 12 to calculate their score.
