Is That Not Abusive All Right?

Christianity doesn't teach that you're worthless in fact we start with a doctrine called the amago day where we learn that every human being that's ever been born has been made in the image and likeness of god. Because of that there is an inherent dignity and value and worth but sadly the god of fundamentalist evangelical Christianity tells you that you are a worthless sinner worthy of damnation without his guidance how is that not abusive?
