The Importance of Taking Risk on Medicare Advantage
If you're running an ACO program successfully and you're really creating savings, I don't think it's taking you away for you to go to MA. We are 100% on board with that. What I do find interesting, however, is groups who are doing Medicare Advantage who say that their model produces hospitalizations by, some say, 50%. Is that awesome? 50% reduction hospitalizations. But the practice model only works in Medicare Advantage.
