The family has always been devalued in our time, he says. The primary negative effect of devaluing the biblical families is that God is dishonored,. And so there's a sense where immorality clouds your thinking and you can't think clearly anymore. So one of the negative effects is that people are not thankful for the blessing that comes through marriage and family.
