The Ontario 2051 comprehensive transportation plan says they're going to widen the 401. This is atrocious to look at and probably worse to be in. Once you get beyond like four lanes bunched up together, you get really diminishing returns. There are more highways people drive on them and they get as congested as the lanes they were supposed to relieve congestion on.
