Public Sector Unions Are a Backdoor Way of Replacing Government Employees
Public sector unions are a backdoor way of recreating in effect Tammany style, use government employees as your campaign staff. I think one of the problems with collective bargaining in the police context is not so much the work rules but there's literally no mechanism for accountability. We have this kind of blue wall of silence thing that goes on where cops were trained basically not to interfere with another cop doing something wrong. So what, what replaces this system should be something that honors how hard it is to be a cop from the beat.
