The Power of the Service Mesh

Kubernetes was created by a group of people who had been operating production software at very high scale. Kubernetes started out as an istio band mind in the same space as Google's kubernetes project. The team decided to leave idm because they didn't feel like their goals were being expressed there. They are now working on adding mutual TLS, licker beat option and other features that will help them compete with more established services such as Twitter or Facebook.
