Will Randolph Hearst's New York Times

In 1890, Will Randolph Hearst has won San Francisco. His father dies and he's embarrassed to hear that all of the money had been left to his daughter Phoebe. This is sort of a posthumous insult from his father; it inspires him in 1891 to go shopping for a newspaper in New York.
