The Importance of Seeing Patients With FMF

The gene that came to our attention in the cinder bowl was the gene that encodes the receptor for tumor necrosis factor. Since it was the TNF receptor, we decided to call the disease traps, the T NF receptor associated periodic syndrome. We propose a new type of disease that we'll fix that will not have auto-inflamatory or antigen-specific features. These are the autoimmune diseases that don't have autoantibodies; they're really important.
