I tell my patients, essentially, you can't beat the clock. You may try to. But this whole idea that we should be in time with our circadian rhythms is just not realistic. We're more and more convinced that a large part or at least a significant part of jet lag is actually our microbiome clock doesn't catch up with our sunlight clock. So there's still a lot to learn about all this.
