Service workers are scrips that can run in the background of your browser. They intercept network requests, and they can rud and code when the use isn't on the page. Youcan do background sink off line access to a web site with service workers. And because you have all those requests sitting between the browser and the wife connection, you can serve them up directly from cash. Which is pretty cool that you can do that type of thing.
In this episode of Syntax, Wes and Scott talk through the fundamentals of web workers and service workers - examples, when you should use them, how to debug, local dev, and more.
