"I basically sort of copy pasted my parents marriage and child raising into my own home, which in some ways doesn't make a lot of sense," she says. "No one made me sign something on my wedding day that said, no matter what happens, you are the one who's going to take care of the kids." She adds: "If you're used to the person who's doing it and everything is second nature to you, then you become essential"
