The Effects of Interval Sessions on Lactate Levels

If you have triggered that sympathetic stress response, often you also have a period of appetite suppression. You don't just sit down at the dinner table right after an interval session. We're just not, it takes a while to get back into a state where we're, you know, the brain is saying, okay, now it's time to eat. That's indicator that we can use and say, hey, if I feel empty, if my heart rate stayed flat during the ride or the run, then hey, I think I nailed it. I kept the intensity where it needed to be. Good on me.
