I was just curious about that, not having any, you know, not knowing the not lines from which it comes. But essentially goes off on its own path when at one point, I don't remember exactly where something like around 700 BC or so when the ancestors of these speakers moved to Cyprus and there were constantly in contact with Greeks with Greeks. And that's where a lot of the more interesting stuff starts to come into play. The phenomenal system especially was very much redone along the lines of Cypriot Greek. One of my personal favorite developments is that a lot of Semitic direct object suffixes were essentially reanalyzed as unbound, clitic forms according to very similar rules
