The Connotation of Afrofuturism
In some sense, it's almost like in order to get to a world that is where Afrofuturism, I'm not gonna say won't be needed. No longer having to defend the idea and kind of expounding on it. We're talking about power relations, we're talking about racialization,. Does that make sense? Yeah, it does. But now it is the connotation changes for more people. So if that emotional weight becomes less traumatic and more celebrated by everybody, then it becomes lack of futurism or whatever you want to call it.
