The sixth amendment of the constitution guarantees that we are supposed to have lawyers who will fight for our rights and represent us at trial. But barry jones's post conviction attorney also failed him. This attorney, crucially, also failed to investigate the medical evidence under pinning berry jones'sconvict so he is not well represented by his trial attorneys. And it's not until two thousand 17 that his legal team is given an opportunity to pres this evidence at an evidentiary hearing. He was denied from bringing any of the evidence that could point to his innocence before any court. It gets into some really weedy procedurea stuff that is really, really important.
The Supreme Court is going to let Arizona kill Barry Jones, a man whose rape and murder convictions were vacated in 2018.
