TD is the most shorted global bank in terms of dollar value, but it's not the most. The percent of the flow that is being shorted remains very low at 3.3% up from 2.8% a year ago. "Shorting Canadian banks I think is an absolutely sure way to lose money historically," says John MacIntosh.
