As a young adult heading off to the us, and moving into journalism, et cetera, was that as much a rebellion or more of a drift? Did you have an axe to grind with the church? Or when you look back on that period of your life, do you know what was underneath that sort of distancing of yourself? I think it was more about the idea that there is no one size fits all with religious traditions. And we can construct our own, our own way of making senseo of spirituality by gaging in that kind of curiosity.
