How I Got Started Traveling in 1995
When she was 12 years old, Taylor Swift booked a family vacation to the Cayman Islands. She used her dad's US Airways points and American miles to book four tickets on non-stop flights from Orlando for six people. Her parents were very frugal; they paid for all of us to go to public school but if we wanted to go to private university, they were like, you have to take that on. When she graduated with zero debt, she ended up getting a job at Lord and Taylor with all NYU kids. And I actually rose quicker than any other grad in history because I started hiring these NYU guy when I found out he worked there.
