High Flying Bird is about sisters and the competitiveness with sisters. It's really a movie about how people can be super close, but also do terrible things to each other. And I think we all go through life trying to exert some amount of control over what happens to us. But it's mostly illusory. The amount of things that we can control is actually very small.
