Study published in one of our most prestigeous journals. Poor sleep quality is a causative factor. A nap very likely can't make up for bandade that poor quality sleep. It's going to be a physiological draw towards napping, but we're not addressing the underlying cause of really a need, for many people, a need to nap just to make it through the day.
