Do You Know What's Motivating You?

i have worked with four difficult people, and in three cases, i handled it badly. In the one case, i actually became the person's friend. I had their kids over to visit my kids. We hung out, we did stuff together. He got a lot more easy to work with after that point. And i didn't become friends with him so that we could have a better working relationship.
